Morning 3’s Class Schedule
9:00-9:40 Children arrive, large motor playground or rec center.
9:40-10:00 Outdoor group activity
10:00-10:20 Circle time in library. Calendar, flag, jobs, songs, theme-based phonics/math lessons, storytime…
10:20-10:30 Wash hands, snack time
10:30-11:15 Center time (blocks, housekeeping, puzzles, games, library, etc.) arts and crafts, small group skill-based project.
11:15-11:30 Storytime, games, songs, fingerplays, etc.
11:30-11:55 Pack up, clean up, ready for dismissal from playground.

Transitional Kindergarten Schedule
9:15-9:45 Welcome, unpack, get organized, morning work task at tables (theme-based or skill oriented…can be worksheet, craft, game, puzzles, etc.) Then, free play with friends using books, games, toys, blocks, puzzles, craft items…)
9:45-10:30 Circle time, good morning songs, poems, flag salute and patriotic songs, attendance (using graph for counting on, adding, subtracting, combining sets, sorting by attribute, greater/fewer) Shared Reading mini-lesson. Can show homework, or Weekly Reader…
10:30-10:45 Snack- children bring their own favorite healthy snacks from home in their back packs
10:45-11:15 Small group center time, reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, teambuilding, problem-solving, etc.
11:15-11:45 Recess, outdoor play or rec center, physical activities, group games, parachute, races, free play…
11:45-12:15 Lunch
12:15-12:45 Math lessons, science experiments, read-alouds, group projects, author studies, etc.
12:45-1:15  Goodbye songs, discuss day, clean up, pack up…

Pre-K Schedule (8:30 and 8:45 sessions the same, as well as PM, just different times) 
Arrival of pre-k. Morning work. Project focused on weekly lesson and/or letter of the week. Free Play with friends using games, books, puzzles and toys.
Meet in Math area: calendar, morning routines, flag.
Whole group math and/or literacy or theme based social studies unit.
Snack time, wash hands
Split into small groups with teachers in ABC room and Math room for hands-on learning/projects in small groups. Centers (listening center/reading the room, social studies, math, ABC, writing, art, science.)
Clean up and meet in ABC ladybug rug to share work from centers and evaluate

Recess outside or Rec Center
Shared reading or shared writing whole group phonics and literacy.
Kids help clean up and do their jobs, check around the centers/school, art areas for extra clean up and sorting toys, wiping tables, sweeping, etc.
Meet in library for read aloud, storytime, books on tape, author studies, group games and activities: Sing goodbye songs, get packed up and organized.
Dismissal from playground.

Science lab, weekly readers, show and share, special guests, etc. are worked into routines on a regular basis (show and share is always Thursday)
